BESTSELF™ ICEBREAKER | Dream 25

WHEN DID YOU LOSE YOUR ABILITY TO DREAM LIKE A CHILD?

I stopped dreaming when I was told that my dreams were stupid and/or impossible. My mother truly sucked the joy out of everything in cruel and mean-spirited ways. Why? I don’t know, and I don’t care. For years, I refused to use the word dream in favour of the more acceptable “goal” or “plan” because dreams were impossible to reach.

I no longer have goals or plans, now I dream, with intention.

When I remember, just after I crawl between the sheets, I ask my higher self, my spirit guides, the universe, god, and whatever other magical support team available to me, to show me what it is I need to know in as direct a manner as possible. I do not do parables, allegories or metaphors; send me a ginormous billboard with specific directions or knock me over the head and make me pay attention to precisely the message I’m to receive.

It is remarkably effective with me waking after some pretty wild dreams that provide me with insight and direction.
